Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, has urged political leaders, especially state governors, to follow the example of Abia State Governor Alex Otti by providing essential amenities like electricity, good roads, and clean water.
During a visit to Otti’s country home in Nvosi, Isialangwa South Local Government Area, Rudeboy expressed his admiration for the governor’s developmental achievements, which have garnered public trust.
“I have to say this: We, the Nigerian youths, recognize that if you want to see a good example of effective governance, look at Alex Otti. Whether on social media or in real life, his work speaks volumes,” Rudeboy said. “People are celebrating him every day. There’s something fundamentally wrong with how Nigeria is governed, but Alex Otti is doing it differently. His focus is on the people, and this is what we have been praying for.”
Justice Martins, a music legend and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Tourism and Entertainment, noted ongoing efforts to develop and harness the state’s tourism potential.
