Russia is set to implement a six-month suspension on petrol exports starting Friday to prevent potential fuel shortages during scheduled maintenance activities on oil refineries, as announced by the government.
“The decisions are aimed at maintaining a stable situation on the fuel market… Restrictions on petrol exports are introduced for six months, from 1 March to 31 August,” the government stated.
