Saba returns with “Back in Office,” his first official collaboration with the legendary Chicago producer, a year after first teasing a joint project with No I.D.
The collaboration comes with a music video directed by Ian Lipton, which you can watch above. According to a press release, the release “paves the way for the release of additional tracks from this dynamic duo’s private collection.”

“Superhero, this is my Negro solstice flow, they hear my shit and then adopt it like a foster home/My granny workin’ hard, the main person I call on/Gold chain hang from my collarbone,” Saba raps in the first verse.
“Back in Office” arrives more than a year after Saba’s previous full-length release, A Few Good Things, in February 2022. A few months later, during an Apple Music 1 interview with Ebro Darden, the Windy City rapper revealed that No I.D. had sent him “over 120 beats” to work with.
“He said, ‘You hear that little beat in the background? That’s just number 80 this week, don’t mind me,'” Saba explained. “When I caught up with him, he told me he did 120 in two weeks.” ‘I got 120, how many do you want me to send you?’ he said. ‘Bro, I’m about to go on tour, send me all 120,’ I said. I wasn’t expecting him to do it, but he did.”
Saba, who recently released his first single of 2023, is set to perform at Coachella before heading to New York’s Governors Ball in June.
