“Hailey Bieber has contacted me to inform me that she has received death threats and hateful negativity,” Gomez wrote on Instagram.
“This is not my position. This level of hatred and bullying should not be tolerated. I’ve always been a proponent of kindness, and I really want this to stop.”
As the self-styled ‘Team Selena’ continued to insult, question, and threaten the model, hate messages and death threats ensured that she was going through hell.
Although Justin and Selena’s relationship ended six years ago, and the Canadian singer is now married to Hailey, fans do not appear to have moved on from that chapter of the story.
The enmity between the three is growing by the minute, but it is being expressed through their fans, who have made no statements against each other, demonstrating how toxic online fan groups can be.
