Kim Kardashian was absent from the celebration honoring women in show business, but Seth Rogen didn’t let that stop him from poking fun at her.
On Wednesday during The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Breakfast, Seth grabbed the stage and, as is his habit, made a few jokes about attendees.

The incorrect event date was sent to Kim’s staff some weeks ago, according to a person with firsthand knowledge. Only on Monday was the error discovered, and due to an earlier job engagement, her itinerary could not be changed at the last minute. She never cancels, so she was quite sad that she couldn’t make it.
Are we going to make light of Kim Kardashian’s absence, he joked. I’ve watched every ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ episode, so I know she doesn’t have anything more important to do than this, he continued.
He let everyone know it was all in good fun, saying she probably had a lot going on and had excellent reason to skip.

Chelsea Handler also made fun of the founder of “SKIMS” missing the event, joking that Kim wasn’t the reason for the increased security at the event.
