Shakira allegedly discovered her longtime love Gerard Piqué was cheating on her when her jam began to disappear.
According to ShowNews Today, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer returned home from a trip and became suspicious of the missing fruit spread because the famous soccer player and their children all dislike jam.
Shakira alluded to this amusing turn of events in the music video for her and Rauw Alejandro’s single “Te Felicito,” in which she opens a refrigerator to find Alejandro’s head on a platter.
Although the Colombian pop star and Piqué’s 11-year relationship ended amicably in June 2022, it has since soured with the release of her scathing diss track “BZRP Music Session #53,” in which she takes aim at her ex and his new 23-year-old girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.

“You left me with my mother-in-law as a neighbor / Media outlets at my door and in debt with the government,” Shakira, 45, sings in Spanish in the new song, alluding to her tax saga.
Following the release of the song, Shakira allegedly turned a witch doll on her balcony and pointed it toward Piqué’s mother’s house. The 35-year-old athlete has not responded to Shakira’s new song.
Shakira revealed earlier this month was “devastated” when she realized Marti was in the background of one of Piqué’s Zoom calls from home in 2021 — when the now-former couple was still very much together.

According to a source, the singer of “Waka Waka” was “devastated to learn that this woman clearly felt at home in the house they shared with their children.”
When he conducted the interview, Shakira was away traveling with her and Piqué’s children, Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7, but “they were very much still together at that time,” according to the insider, who added, “It’s devastating for her to learn that this affair had been going on for a lot longer than she imagined.”
The ex-couple lived in Barcelona, Spain, for eight years, but Shakira and their children are returning to Miami.
