Sharon Ooja, the actress, has made a bold statement, asserting that she refuses to be intimidated by online harassment.
Addressing trolls who speculated about her marital status and suggested she had taken someone else’s husband, Ooja fired back in a series of now-deleted Instagram Story posts. She shared screenshots of her exchange with a troll on Snapchat, vehemently denying the accusations and defending her husband’s honor.
In response to the troll’s insinuation, Ooja clarified, “No. He is not someone else’s husband. You do realize that I’m legally married. Do you think that would have been possible if he was? This is how I choose to protect my home.”
Earlier in March 2024, Ooja disclosed that she had tied the knot with her partner in a private civil ceremony. Despite this revelation, she has chosen to keep her husband’s identity private.
Expressing her frustration with online bullying, Ooja shared threatening comments she received on Instagram and penned a heartfelt note condemning such behavior.
“It’s disheartening how people think they can spew negativity just because they have a phone. I may be in the public eye, but I’m also human! If you leave any hurtful comments or threats under my posts, or spread baseless rumors about me, your negativity will come back to haunt you,” Ooja wrote passionately.
She continued, warning against crossing her, “Don’t push me to involve divine intervention. I have a God who defends me fiercely. So, mind your words. I’m standing up for myself now. I refuse to tolerate bullying. I stay in my lane, but don’t provoke me. I’m a strong believer, and I won’t hesitate to bring down divine justice on those who harass me. You’ve been warned!”
In conclusion, Ooja urged others to speak up for themselves and emphasized her determination to stand her ground against online harassment.
