Nigerian socialite Okechukwu Pascal, widely known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has opened up about his ongoing feud with Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, attributing the tension to jealousy.
The two have been engaged in a public back-and-forth on social media over an undisclosed issue in recent weeks. During an appearance on Channels Television’s Rubbin Minds show, aired on Sunday, Chiefpriest shared his perspective on the conflict.
According to the celebrity barman, Burna Boy’s frustration stems from his close relationship with another popular artist, Davido. He explained, “The whole issue with Burna Boy started because he was jealous of my relationship with Davido. He wanted me by his side, but I chose to work with Davido. Davido and I have never had any discussions about Burna Boy.”
Chiefpriest continued to clarify that Davido is not the type to engage in gossip about other artists, adding, “It’s always others who imagine things and try to drag us into drama.”
In a separate matter, Chiefpriest addressed rumors regarding a romantic relationship with a Kenyan woman named Helen. The woman had accused him of abandoning her after the birth of his son. Chiefpriest firmly denied the allegations, stating on Rubbin Minds, “I don’t even know the woman. This whole babymama saga is just an attempt to destroy my marriage.”
