According to multiple reports from Sudan, the much-touted humanitarian ceasefire, which was supposed to last 24 hours beginning at 18:00 local time (16:00 GMT), has already been broken.

According to BBC Sudan analyst Mohanad Hashim, gunfire and clashes erupted shortly after that time.
