Summer Walker is on her way.
The R&B singer announced her new project CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE EP on Sunday at J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival in North Carolina.
“I just wanted to let you know that I’m releasing an EP on May 19th.” “If you want to pre-order it, go to my website,” she said to the audience during her Prime Video live-streamed set. “Are you guys ready for some new music?”
Summer then performed a new song from the album for fans. On the untitled track, she sings, “God bless me / God help me / I think I’m insane.” “Why do you want to play so badly?”
CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE EP is the follow-up to her 2019 four-track EP CLEAR, which served as a precursor to her debut album Over It. Summer, who had twins in December, also revealed the cover art, which depicts her holding her pregnant belly.
