Summer Walker has added two new members to her family.
Over the holidays, the R&B singer gave birth to twins. She announced in a since-deleted Instagram post that she gave birth at home after a seven-hour labor.
“I’m so pleased with myself. “I’m just sharing to inspire other women because I know that once you’ve carried twins to almost 42 weeks, especially with (one breech), people will try to steer you towards induction or c-section (which there’s nothing wrong with these, I just didn’t want it for myself,” she wrote in her caption.
Her baby daddy, LVRD Pharoh aka Larry, as well as family members and “spirit guides,” were present throughout the natural birth, which was documented on social media.

“You can do it, this was my second home birth all natural 7 hrs, no tearing & I couldn’t have done it without my spirit guides, Godparents, birth team, my elders, & the best dad doula ever Larry lol, he was so hands on the whole time I was really impressed it wasn’t easy but it gets done,” she added.
While there were some nerve-racking moments, she made it through. “I almost blacked out at the end of both births, but eating your placenta will definitely keep you above water.” I have thin blood, so I always end up going to the hospital to get back into shape for them, but as long as my kids are safe at home, I’m fine.

The 26-year-old singer announced her pregnancy in June, but it was not made public that she was expecting twins.
“People have been asking me if I’m pregnant, and I am,” she explained at the time. “I’m overjoyed and overjoyed. I’m very excited because it’s going to be very different from how it was before, just very peaceful and happy. Lots of love and a lot of help.”
Summer is now a mother of three children. She has a daughter with her ex, producer London On Da Track, who was born in March 2021.
