Swae Lee had Coachella rocking even before he took the stage.
Before his performance at the festival on Sunday, one-half of Rae Sremmurd got into a massive brawl with security, all in front of his infant son.
According to TMZ, the “Sunflower” singer and his entourage attempted to enter the festival grounds through a checkpoint behind the stage but were met with resistance from several security guards. Swae is seen on video being pushed up against a wall before an all-out brawl breaks out.

Security guards intervened, punching a man in Swae’s camp. A woman is seen protecting Swae’s infant son by picking up the stroller in her arms, while another voice commands the security guard to “get your hands off the baby.”
Swae’s management team claims that the fight was started by security. “As Swae Lee attempted to enter the festival with his newborn son and working crew, overzealous security guards confronted them,” according to a representative.
He was scheduled to perform on Coachella’s Outdoor Theatre stage at 5:55 PM as half of Rae Sremmurd. Security claimed they didn’t recognize the performers and then aggressively initiated contact as they made their way to the stage.”
“The security guards, which we presume are independent contractors,” the statement continues, “are clearly seen being the aggressors and then throwing gang signs at the end of the video in celebration.”

“Coachella thank you so much week 2 was a movie,” he said on Twitter.
