Tamar Braxton has found her soulmate.
She is engaged to Jeremy “JR” Robinson, whom she met on the Peacock dating show “Queens Court.” Robinson proposed to the “Braxton Family Values” star during the season finale. The couple is still together and planning their wedding six months later.
“I thought all I needed was love. “I didn’t,” said Braxton, 45, according to People. “I needed someone to talk to. And you’ve done the same for me.”
Robinson, who is an attorney, got down on one knee and proposed. “I don’t want to be your pal. “I want to be your husband,” he said. “I’ll be here forever because I can’t imagine my life without you. Tamar, I love you. “Tamar, will you marry me?” he asked.
Braxton inquired as to Robinson’s certainty. “Without a doubt,” he replied.
Braxton accepted the proposal in tears, admitting she’s “crazy” about JR. “I can’t believe I finally found what I was looking for,” she exclaimed.
“Now you have to tell my son and my baby daddy,” Braxton, who has a 9-year-old son Logan with ex-husband Vincent Herbert, added.
Following her divorce from Herbert in 2018, Braxton dated Nigerian entrepreneur David Adefeso, but the relationship ended in acrimony. Adefeso filed a restraining order against Braxton after the two accused each other of abuse.
The newly engaged singer is preparing to release new music. Her new single “Changed” will be released at midnight.
