Temi Otedola Officially Becomes Temi Ajibade
Actress Temi Otedola, daughter of business mogul Femi Otedola, has embraced a new chapter by updating her surname to Ajibade after marrying Nigerian singer Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi.
On Friday, Temi shared stunning photos from their wedding on Instagram, introducing herself as “Mrs Ajibade” with the caption: “Mr and Mrs Ajibade. Now on Vogue Magazine.” She also updated her bio to reflect her new surname.
The couple celebrated their love with not one, but three weddings across three countries. Their journey began with a romantic ceremony in Monaco on May 9, chosen to honor Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday. In July, they held a colorful Yoruba wedding at the Otedola family home in Dubai, before sealing it all with a white wedding in Iceland in August.
Vogue Magazine highlighted their love story, which started in London back in January 2017. On a chilly night, Mr Eazi had gone to watch Temi’s sister, Florence, DJ at the Tate Club, where he first met Temi. Five years later, he proposed.
In an interview with The Office Magazine, Mr Eazi shared how deeply Nigerian culture shaped their ceremonies.
“We brought Nigeria to Dubai in Temi’s family home — the food, the officiant, the outfits, the music, everything was Yoruba. Even the band was the legendary King Sunny Ade. Our attires reflected both Yoruba and Iseleuku traditions, honoring my late mum’s heritage. It felt exactly like Lagos in Dubai.”
He also opened up about his most touching memories:
“It was surreal seeing Temi walk down the aisle in Dubai surrounded by loved ones. I’ll never forget when she described me using all my names, including the special one my mum used to call me. Another powerful moment was when the organist played my mum’s favorite hymn — right then, the cloudy sky turned sunny as Temi walked into the church. It was magical.”
