TIME magazine honors 100 up-and-coming talents from various industries and nations as part of its yearly list.
The publication earlier today unveiled its TIME100 Next list, which features well-known names like Keke Palmer, SZA, Khaby Lame, Elizabeth Wathuti, Ncuti Gatwa, and Ayo Edebiri (who even got their own covers).
TIME writes in an essay on how the magazine chose the winners: “There is no one method to have an impact, and there is no one manner by which TIME calculates the influence vital to its picks.” “As a result, and by design, the 2022 TIME100 Next list includes singers as well as doctors, government officials as well as movement leaders, and high-profile whistle-blowers as well as top CEOs—all selected by TIME’s journalists and inspired by their reporting.”
