Tina Turner’s death at the age of 83 was announced on Wednesday, and the music world was in mourning.
And the Rock icon’s causes of death have already been revealed by her representative, who spoke to the Daily Mail and made statements that were picked up by Page Six.

Turner died of natural causes on May 24 at her home near Zurich, Switzerland, according to her representative.
According to Page Six, Tina’s manager previously stated that she was suffering from a “long illness,” but he did not elaborate.
“It is with great sadness that we announce Tina Turner’s death.” She captivated millions of fans worldwide and inspired future stars with her music and boundless passion for life. Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who has left us her greatest work: her music. Our deepest condolences go out to her family. “Tina, we will miss you terribly,” read the message that announced the singer’s death.

Tina Turner’s Battle with Kidney Disease
According to Page Six, the ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’ singer opened up about her battle with kidney disease two months before her death.
“My kidneys are victims of not realizing [sic]that my high blood pressure should have been treated with conventional medicine,” she wrote on Instagram on International Kidney Day, March 9.
“I have put myself in grave danger by refusing to accept the reality that I require daily, lifelong medication therapy.” For far too long, I believed my body was an impenetrable fortress.
