President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after attending the 11th session of the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission in Cape Town, South Africa. The event was co-chaired by Tinubu and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The President arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 9:10 p.m. and was welcomed by several dignitaries. Among those present were the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike; Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; and National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu. Also in attendance were the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, and the Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory, Peter Opara.

Established in 1999, the Nigeria-South Africa Bi-National Commission serves as a platform to enhance cooperation and deepen the relationship between the two countries. This latest session focused on fostering collaboration in critical sectors to drive mutual growth and development.
The agreements reached during the commission reflect a commitment to addressing shared challenges and leveraging opportunities for the benefit of both nations.
