Renowned South African comedian and author Trevor Noah has exciting news for his fans. He announced that he will be launching a weekly podcast on Spotify later this year, taking advantage of one of the world’s most popular podcasting platforms.
Noah revealed that the podcast will feature engaging and meaningful conversations with some of the world’s most fascinating individuals. The announcement was made during a conversation between Noah and Spotify CEO Daniel Ek at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity in France. Noah also took to Twitter to share the news with his followers.

This development comes six months after Noah’s departure from The Daily Show, the US television program that propelled him to fame. Since then, he has been involved in various projects, including hosting Amazon’s first South African original series, LOL: Last One Laughing. In this unique game show, ten renowned South African comedians compete to keep a straight face.
In addition to his podcast, Trevor Noah has another treat in store for his South African fans. He will be embarking on a live tour across South Africa from August to September, bringing his humor and wit to stages throughout the country.
