Trevor Noah, a South African comedian, and TV broadcaster have formally announced his departure as the host of The Daily Show, an American late-night program. Many people were shocked when Trevor revealed in September that he would be leaving the program at the conclusion of the season.
The comedian delivered an emotional farewell speech on Thursday. Trevor recalled his earlier times as the host when the crowd was too small to be completely full. I appreciate each and every one of you, he said. “I’m really appreciative. I recall that when we first launched the show, we had trouble getting an audience big enough.
He also complimented the viewers who “hate to watch” the program for raising the ratings.

In his moving statement, Noah made a point of expressing his gratitude to a black woman who, in his words, served as the source of his “wonderful ideas.”
This may seem random to some people, but Black women get a special shout-out, he stated. I’ve frequently received credit for these wonderful concepts. People always say, “Trevor, you’re so brilliant,” and I always respond, “Who do you suppose taught me? Who do you believe has fostered, fed, and created me? ’
“I constantly advise folks to speak with Black ladies if they really want to understand America. Black women, in contrast to everyone else, cannot afford to f**k about and find out.
In 2015, the author of Born A Crime assumed control of the political-themed program. Before leaving, he hosted for seven seasons.
Although his replacement has not been made official, a number of famous guests will serve as the show’s hosts when the new season debuts in January 2023.
