Trey Songz turned himself into police after an alleged altercation in October.
The R&B singer was accused of punching two people in the face at a bowling alley, sending one of the alleged victims to the hospital.
According to TMZ, Trey appeared at an NYPD station a few weeks later to turn himself in. He was arrested, given a desk appearance ticket for assault, and released.
Trey allegedly punched a woman in the face and dragged her by the hair inside a bowling alley bathroom. However, an alleged second victim has come forward, claiming Trey punched him in the eye. He allegedly refused medical treatment.
Trey has been cooperating with authorities but maintains his innocence. “We have been communicating proactively with NY law enforcement, the DA, and everyone involved,” Trey’s attorney, Mitch Schuster, told TMZ. “While we will work through all appropriate channels in a respectful and proactive manner, we are confident that Trey will be fully cleared of any wrongdoing.”
Trey has a history of being accused of assault. He was sued for $20 million earlier this year by a woman who claimed he raped her, but the case was dismissed due to a statute of limitations.
Authorities in Las Vegas dropped a sexual assault investigation in August following an alleged incident at a Vegas hotel in November 2021.
Trey performed alongside Chris Brown, Jacquees, Jeremih, and 6LACK at the In My Feelz festival in Los Angeles on Saturday.
