Following the passing of US dancer and DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss at the age of 40, celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, and Michelle Obama paid tribute to him.
His wife, Allison Holker Boss, verified the information on Wednesday. The artist allegedly committed “suicide” in a hotel, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office. Before being elevated to co-executive producer in 2020, the dancer DJ began working for The Ellen Show in 2014.
DeGeneres, 64, posted the following on Twitter: “I’m heartbroken. tWitch was only pure light and love. “I loved him with all of my heart because he was my family. He will be missed.

Boss was a “wonderful person,” and as Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson noted in a sympathy tweet, “you never know what’s going on between the ears.”

Justin Timberlake claimed to have known tWitch for more than 20 years through the dance scene.
The singer and actor stated in a tweet: “Hearing that someone who so brightened a room was suffering so much behind closed doors is devastating.
Simply said, you can never truly know what someone is going through.”
The Oscar-winning musician Questlove wrote: “Rest in Melody Twitch,” and actor Jamie Foxx described his feelings as “beyond saddened.”
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,” tWitch’s wife said in a statement published by People magazine.
“Stephen lit up every room he entered.”
