On Thursday, the UN Human Rights Council will hold an emergency session in Geneva to discuss the ongoing conflict in Sudan.
There have been numerous reports of widespread human rights violations, including attacks on civilians, sexual violence, and hospital looting.
Thousands of people have been displaced, and aid organizations say they are unable to work safely.
Several African countries, including Sudan, are said to be wary of the meeting, fearing it will jeopardize ongoing ceasefire talks.
Britain, the United States, Germany, and Norway convened the meeting.
