Oleksandr Usyk delivered a stunning performance on Saturday night, knocking out Daniel Dubois in the fifth round to claim the title of undisputed heavyweight champion.
The fight, held at London’s Wembley Stadium, ended with Usyk adding the IBF belt to his already impressive collection of WBA, WBC, and WBO titles—cementing his reign at the top of the heavyweight division.
Despite being 11 years older than Dubois, the 38-year-old Ukrainian looked sharper and more determined from the start. He floored Dubois early in the fifth round and sealed the deal with a powerful left hook just under two minutes in, leaving Dubois unable to continue.
Moments after the win, an emotional Usyk dropped to his knees in celebration before reminding the crowd, “38 is a young guy, remember!”
With this victory, Usyk remains undefeated in his professional career with 24 wins and counting—and now holds every major heavyweight belt in the sport.
