The “Hurricane” video performance by Alté star Tomi Thomas, off his 2021 EP “Hopeless Romantic,” has just been released.
The last of several live performance videos that were released in the previous month, “Hurricane,” builds excitement for upcoming releases that are rumored to occur at the start of the new year.
As one of the founding members of the Alté movement, Tomi Thomas gained notoriety. Thomas acknowledged that the “Hopeless Romantic” EP was his own special interpretation of the now-universal Afrobeats sound when he launched it. It was a varied project with genre fusions like Afropop, dancehall, and reggae. Naturally, the initiative received favorable reviews due to the talent and skill it demonstrated.
Thomas is giving fans a taste of his creative brilliance with a series of live performances of his most recent EP while he gears up to release new songs. The last session to be revealed is “Hurricane,” a song that originally featured dance hall and reggae great Buju Banton. Thomas literally channels his inner rockstar to create this visually stunning performance.
