TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, known to many as Peller, has opened up about a deeply personal journey that led him to embrace Christianity.
In a heartfelt chat with fans, Peller shared how his early years in a Quranic school, known as Ile Kewu, were filled with tough experiences that left emotional scars. The repeated harsh treatment he endured, he said, gradually pushed him away from the faith he was raised in.
Reflecting on his childhood, Peller said the punishments he faced while learning the Quran made him question the environment he was in, eventually prompting him to walk a different spiritual path.
“I’m not a Muslim. I’m a Christian. I go to church. I was beaten severely when I was young at the Quranic school. That’s why I stopped going,” he said candidly.
In another story of spiritual transformation, gospel singer Chidinma Ekile shared her own testimony. After returning from the U.S., she embarked on a powerful 40-day retreat on a mountain—a time dedicated to prayer, fasting, and soul-searching.
According to Chidinma, those weeks in solitude were filled with raw emotions, divine encounters, and moments that truly tested her faith. She slept under the open sky, pouring out her heart through songs and fervent prayers, searching for clarity and a deeper connection with God.
Both stories speak to the personal struggles and transformative experiences that shape one’s spiritual identity—and the courage it takes to walk a path that brings peace and purpose.
