Nick Cannon, well-known American TV personality, recently shared the rationale behind his decision to insure his testicles for a staggering $10 million.
Explaining his unusual insurance move, Cannon described his testicles as his “most valuable assets,” inspired by celebrities, particularly athletes, who insure body parts like their legs.
“I had to insure my most valuable assets,” Cannon remarked in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “You hear about celebrities insuring their legs… so I thought, ‘Hey, I’ve got to insure my most valuable body part.'”
Cannon emphasized the preventive nature of his decision, ensuring nothing interferes with his testicular health, despite his current lack of plans to expand his already large family. This initiative, undertaken in June, partnered Cannon with men’s personal care brand Dr. Squatch to assess and safeguard his assets.
Using Dr. Squatch’s Ball Valuation Tool, the evaluation considered factors like size and performance in the bedroom, leading to the establishment of a substantial insurance policy through Momentous Insurance Brokerage’s Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC (MMA).
With his trademark humor, Cannon addressed the public, saying, “Critics may say it’s time for me to retire my super sperm and stop having kids, but I’m doubling down on these valuable balls and my future offspring.”
