Patience Ozokwo, a Nollywood actress, has revealed why she will never leave her marriage due to infidelity.
During a recent interview on Mercy Johnson’s weekly cook show, ‘Mercy’s Menu,’ the actress revealed this.
When Mercy asked her what she thought about infidelity, she replied, “She was not going to leave her marriage for anyone.”
“I’m not going to leave my house for anyone,” the Nollywood matriarch said. You are the visitor who entered. Find a way out.
“I will gather my family, polish it, sweep away all the debts, and then have a peaceful home once more.”
She also explained why she would advise separation rather than divorce in marriages, adding that God is not against separation.
“God is not opposed to separation. Divorce is not something God desires.
“God is not saying we shouldn’t divorce because he sometimes doesn’t know we’ve violated – No,” she clarified.
“As Christians, we are not permitted to divorce.
“If you pray and the man turns around to become something else, escape for dear life because it is only those who are alive that can tell the story. Nobody can tell when you’re dead.”
