Tottenham Hotspur has officially signed promising winger Wilson Odobert from Burnley. The 19-year-old French talent has committed to a five-year contract with Spurs, keeping him at the club until 2029. While the transfer fee remains undisclosed, this acquisition marks a significant addition to Tottenham’s squad.
Odobert, who has represented France at the Under-21 level, had a successful stint at Burnley, making 34 appearances across all competitions and scoring five goals. He made history as Burnley’s youngest Premier League goalscorer when he scored against Chelsea in October 2023.
Before joining Burnley, Odobert honed his skills in the Paris St-Germain academy and later moved to Troyes in July 2022, where he made 32 appearances and scored four goals.
In other transfer news, Manchester City is in advanced talks to sign Divin Mubama, a former West Ham striker who is highly regarded in Europe. Despite Mubama’s contract with West Ham expiring in June, Manchester City will need to pay a compensation fee to secure his services. If an agreement isn’t reached, the matter could be decided through arbitration to determine a development fee.
Mubama, a 19-year-old England Under-20 international, has shown a strong desire to join Manchester City despite interest from other European clubs. If the transfer is finalized, he is expected to start with Manchester City’s Under-21 squad, with the potential for future first-team opportunities.
Having been with West Ham since the age of 10, Mubama made 18 senior appearances and scored one goal before his departure.
