Wizkid Steps Out in Style at the Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner Following His Documentary Premiere
After the debut of his deeply personal documentary “Wizkid: Long Live Lagos” at the Tribeca Film Festival, Wizkid made another stylish appearance—this time at the 18th annual Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner, hosted by Chanel.
The evening was a blend of elegance and celebration, bringing together creative minds from across the world. Set to honour the artists behind this year’s original festival artworks, the exclusive dinner drew a mix of bold names and rising stars. Among those in attendance were Blake Lively, Robert De Niro, Whitney Peak, Jon Hamm, Anna Osceola—and, of course, Wizkid himself.
Wizkid’s film takes viewers on a reflective journey through his life—starting from the bustling streets of Lagos and rising all the way to his sold-out performance at Tottenham Stadium in London. More than just a highlight reel of milestones, “Long Live Lagos” delves into identity, legacy, and the powerful connection between music and home.
The documentary features appearances from Afrobeat legend Femi Kuti, longtime manager Jada Pollock, media personality Julie Adenuga, and others close to Wizkid’s world. It paints a portrait of an artist rooted in culture, driven by passion, and reshaped by the global stage.
