A former champion of the renowned WWE “Tough Enough” competition sadly passed away at 30, her mother revealed on Thursday.
No specific cause of death was given.
Terri Lee posted a heartbreaking message on social media stating, “It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus.”
“The arrangements are incomplete, and we are all in shock. We respectfully request that you allow our family to grieve.”
In 2015, Sara participated in the sixth season of “Tough Enough.” She was applauded for her strength and courage and outlasted every other female contestant to win a one-year deal with the WWE.
She spent the majority of 2016 competing for the organization before being let go in September. She continued to compete in independent wrestling.
In 2017, Sara wed former WWE wrestler Wesley Blake.

Earlier this week, Sara had just shared a photo of herself working out on her Instagram page. She captioned the photo, writing, “Celebrating finally being healthy enough to go to the gym 2 days in a row first ever sinus infection kicked my butt.
