On his most recent song, “Miss My Dawgs,” YG and Lil Wayne collaborate once more.
The song is a remembrance of Slim 400, a buddy of YG who passed away after being shot and killed in Los Angeles a year ago.
“Tonight at 9 o’clock, exactly one year ago, I received a scandalous ass kall claiming that the friend was TT.
I don’t want to think that it’s genuine, yet that scandalous ass shite turned out to be true, wrote YG. This song is dedicated to Slim, who goes by the handle “@slim400blk.” He honors the friends he has lost along the way in the video. He raps, “I wish my dawgs more life, Hugh Hefner.” The dogs I pick up for have never missed a call, man, I miss my dawgs.
I Miss My Dawgs is a song that Wayne originally recorded for his 2004 album Tha Carter. “Where do my pets go if all dogs get to heaven?” Weezy begins to rap before yelling out Snoop Dogg.
Wayne recently received a 4Hunnid chain from YG, who also referred to him as his “favorite rapper.”

The song was released soon after YG’s sixth studio album, I Got Issues, which featured guest performances from J. Cole, Post Malone, Nas, Roddy Rich, and others, was released in September.
The “Red Cup Tour,” which YG will embark on in 2019 alongside OhGeesy and Kalan.FrFr as special guests will begin in Denver on January 20.
