Regina Daniels has publicly accused her estranged partner, Ned Nwoko, of manipulation and emotional abuse in a lengthy and emotional post shared on Instagram in the early hours of November 9, 2025.
The Nollywood star claimed that Nwoko repeatedly isolated her from her loved ones, allegedly trying to turn her against her family to weaken her support system.
In her statement, Regina admitted to using drugs but insisted that her struggles were being used against her. She accused Nwoko of weaponizing her situation to divert attention from deeper issues in their relationship.
According to her, Nwoko’s behavior followed a disturbing pattern — one where he allegedly broke people down emotionally to control them. She further claimed that although he urged her to seek rehabilitation, he was also the one who encouraged her drug use, saying he preferred her that way.
The actress went on to accuse him of physical and sexual abuse, stating that he once forced medical treatment on her, including injections meant for patients dealing with bipolar disorder. Regina also alleged that Nwoko would confiscate her phones and confine her indoors whenever she tried to resist his authority.
She clarified that there was never any legal marriage between them, as no documents were ever signed.
In her own words, Regina wrote:
“Ned, how could you lie so boldly and without remorse? You’ve always tried to cut me off from my family and make them look bad just because of the bond we share. Yes, I did drugs, but is that the real issue? You keep shouting ‘drugs’ to the public because it’s a perfect distraction — a story that takes focus away from what truly went wrong between us.
You’ve always wanted to isolate me so I’d have no one to turn to — no friends, no family, no support. That’s how you gain control. But it won’t work anymore. You encouraged my habits because, in your words, I was ‘sexier’ that way. You forced yourself on me, locked me up, and took away my phones. The moment I said I wanted out, you declared me mentally unstable. Then, the minute I agreed to stay quiet, suddenly I was fine again.
Why don’t you also admit that you’ve done the same to your other wives? Why don’t you tell people how you had doctors inject me with drugs meant for bipolar patients or how you took my phones just because I spoke to my family? Every problem we had began the moment I stopped wanting you. Stop using the ‘drug’ story to cover your actions. You’re just hurt because it’s finally over.”
Regina’s revelation has sparked widespread reactions online, with many expressing concern and calling for the matter to be investigated.
