Jennifer Odonwodo, the widow of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope, has publicly voiced her frustration after someone shared photos of her children online against her wishes.
According to Jennifer, she had made it clear to the individual not to post any images of her or her kids. Despite agreeing to respect her request, the person went ahead and uploaded the photos after attending a funeral, apparently in search of content.
Though she chose not to mention the person’s name, Jennifer made her displeasure known in a strongly worded post. She stressed that while people are free to create content, her late husband’s children and family should not be dragged into it.
In her message, she wrote:
“You were sternly warned not to post pictures of my kids and I on social media. You attended a funeral to create content—fine. But kindly exclude Junior Pope’s kids and wife from your nonsense. You agreed you wouldn’t post, only to go against your word. Then you even captioned it like meeting the family was some big moment. Really? I won’t tag you, but I know you’ll see this. Do whatever you like, but take my kids and I out of your drama. I have never been this pissed.”
Her reaction has since sparked conversations online, with many sympathising with her stance on protecting her family’s privacy.
