Nollywood actress Judy Austin, wife of actor Yul Edochie, has shared her thoughts on the importance of true love, encouraging people to pray for it just as much as they pray for financial success.
In a post on her Instagram story, she revealed that she has been on a honeymoon since Sunday and reflected on love and happiness.
She wrote, “Been on honeymoon since Sunday, and let me tell you for free… Pray for real, genuine love as much as you pray for money! Nobody wants to be rich and miserable. When you have God, love, and money, life feels like heaven on earth. Hope you’re all having a great day. Love always.”
Her post quickly sparked online reactions, with many questioning her happiness and intent. Some social media users accused her of seeking validation, while others suggested her comments were aimed at Yul’s first wife, May Edochie.
One commenter wrote, “You took someone’s husband, yet you still don’t have peace of mind. What exactly do you want from May? She has stayed silent, but you and Yul keep throwing shades. Are you truly happy?”
Another added, “Why does she keep trying to convince us she’s happy? We don’t care! Just leave us out of it.”
Some also speculated that her reference to “lonely rich people” hinted at an underlying insecurity regarding May’s achievements.
“Stop giving us updates we didn’t ask for,” one person commented. “It doesn’t make you more important. You’re not the issue here.”
