Yung Miami recently teased a possible remix of Latto’s impressive track “Put It On Da Floor.” The City Girls artist took to Twitter on Monday (June 19) to give her followers a thrilling preview of her delivering powerful verses over the original’s impactful beat, produced by Go Grizzly, Squat Beats, and Ben Hogarth.
In one of the snippets, she rapped, “I’m flexing with the blue hundreds, ripping out the bands. I’m messing around with your baby daddy and mine too. Swipe that guy’s dignity and send him right back to you. Some girls may buy Birkin bags, but they ain’t as fierce as me.”
The preview has sparked excitement among fans, eagerly anticipating the full remix and the collaboration between Yung Miami and Latto.

In a different video, Yung Miami appears to mention her connection to Diddy and his wealth by saying, “You ladies start talking like that, Caresha is the trendsetter. Why bother rapping when this body pays the bills? Making that booty clap on the guy, it’s like I’m Jada and Will. Why shed tears? My man is a billionaire. He’s making babies and putting me in his will.”

It’s uncertain whether the remix will be officially released. However, let’s not forget that Yung Miami and Latto have already showcased their musical chemistry earlier this year when they collaborated with Lola Brooke on the remix of “Don’t Play With It.” The remix, which premiered in March, has garnered over 14.7 million views on YouTube.
Meanwhile, Latto’s original track “Put It On Da Floor” is steadily climbing the charts, currently positioned at a comfortable No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, thanks to a remix featuring Cardi B. This growing success further solidifies the accomplishments of both rappers. In response to fan reactions to her version of the song, Yung Miami shared, “I never claimed to be a lyrical genius either, though.”
So I said "hoe RAP FOR WHAT? this pussy pay the bills!!! Cause y'all always saying I can't rap but I ain't even gotta rap tho!! LIFE IS GREAT bitch do you see how I'm living??? I ain't never said I was no lyricist either tho lmaooo 😭😭😭😭

On a different note, City Girls have been teasing a summer filled with “elevated female rap,” offering a taste with the release of two singles on June 8 and 9. The track “I Need a Thug” cleverly samples LL Cool J’s 1987 classic “I Need Love,” while “Piñata,” produced by Southside, showcases their undeniable talent and ambition.
Before these recent releases, City Girls joined forces with Diddy and Fabolous on the track “Act Bad” in May. With this flurry of new music, fans are left wondering if an album is on the horizon. It’s worth noting that the group’s last project, City On Lock, was released in 2020, making this year ripe for more exciting musical endeavors from the duo.
