2Baba Introduces Natasha Osawaru to His Roots in Benue
Music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia recently brought a personal milestone home—formally introducing Natasha Osawaru, a serving lawmaker from Edo State, to his people in Benue.
The introduction happened on April 21, 2025, during a cultural event centered on peace and unity at the royal palace in Otukpo. Dressed in full Idoma regalia, 2Baba presented Natasha to the Och’Idoma and the elders gathered for the ceremony.
After the formalities at the palace, the couple journeyed to Okpokwu, 2Baba’s ancestral hometown. There, they were received by local elders, family members, and community leaders in a more intimate setting.
2Baba didn’t hold back on his admiration for Natasha, calling her brilliant, grounded, and everything he’s ever hoped for in a partner. With sincerity, he asked for his people’s blessing as he prepared to take the next big step in his personal life.
But while some are celebrating the love story, not everyone is keeping quiet. Comedian Ushbebe recently shared his own take on the relationship, joking that 2Baba appears smitten beyond reason. In his words, the music star is following Natasha around like a “lost schoolboy.”
He even playfully asked the nation to pray for 2Baba, claiming he’s struggling to stay silent on what might be going on behind the scenes.
