Ayo Edebiri Just Landed Another Cover—and She’s Owning Every Look
Add another win to the list—Ayo Edebiri just graced the cover of The Wall Street Journal, and let’s be honest, she’s never looked more at home in front of the lens.
The Emmy-winning powerhouse—who writes, acts, and pretty much redefines cool—stepped into a lineup of jaw-dropping designer outfits that somehow felt both runway-ready and deeply, unmistakably Ayo.
Each outfit told a different story. There she is, decked out in head-to-toe Balenciaga black, topped off with a dramatic wide-brimmed hat by Gigi Burris. Ayo looked like she could command a silent film set or a fashion-forward revolution. Flip the page and there she is again—this time radiating joy in a rainbow-striped Bottega Veneta set, crowned with a playful floral headband from Binata Millinery.
Other standout moments? A structured McQueen bustier and skirt, Saint Laurent heels that mean business, and a cozy Stella McCartney cardigan paired with leggings that say “I’m chill, but make it couture.” From bold silhouettes to soft layers, every piece played a different note, but somehow the melody stayed the same: it’s Ayo’s world, and we’re lucky to watch her own it.
After the shoot, she kept it simple, saying, “Thank you so much to the whole team for such a wonderful time. How lucky am I?”
The answer? Incredibly. But honestly, we’re the lucky ones. These photos? Straight to the mood board.
