Here’s a twist no one saw coming—Gigi and Bella Hadid have a half-sister, and she’s just been introduced to the world.
Her name is Aydan Nix. She’s 23, based in New York, and yes—she’s every bit as stunning and stylish as you’d expect from someone sharing the Hadid DNA.
In a shared message, Gigi and Bella opened up about how Aydan came into their lives. According to them, their father, Mohamed Hadid, had a brief relationship with a woman named Terri Hatfield Dull following his breakup with Yolanda. That chapter of his life eventually led to Aydan’s birth.
Raised in Florida, Aydan grew up believing someone else was her biological father. But after his unexpected death when she was 19, she decided to take a DNA test—one that revealed a shocking family connection.
“We got in touch toward the end of 2023,” Gigi and Bella shared. “From the first moment, we welcomed her with love. She’s met all of us—including our dad—and it’s been a truly special bond.”
The sisters also made it clear that Aydan’s privacy matters deeply to them.
“We’ve had open-hearted conversations as siblings, and Aydan has been part of all of that. She and her loved ones value their space, and we’re here to honor that,” they added. “We hope others can give her the same respect as she continues building her life in New York.”
Aydan, now living in NYC, is a recent graduate of Parsons School of Design, where she studied Integrated Design. She’s carving out her path in the world of editorial styling, branding, and visual storytelling—and doing it on her own terms.
