South Africans residing abroad will be the first to vote, with polling stations opening on Friday, prior to the main elections on May 29.
South African expatriates in Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Syria will cast their votes at their respective foreign missions from 07:00 to 19:00 local time.
Residents in over 100 other countries will have their turn to vote on Saturday.
Voting will be extended to Sunday for those in London, where almost a third of the 76,580 South African voters living abroad are expected to participate.
However, voting will not take place in Israel, Ukraine, and Sudan due to ongoing conflicts in those regions.
