Businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, recently revealed that singer Flavour had to relocate his father’s funeral from Anambra to Enugu due to security concerns in Anambra.
In an Instagram post, Cubana Chief Priest, who attended the funeral, urged the people of Southeastern Nigeria to address the ongoing crisis in their region. He stressed that the insecurity in Anambra forced Flavour to hold the funeral in Enugu instead.
Cubana Chief Priest emphasized the need for unity and action among Southeasterners, saying, “This amazing funeral was supposed to be in Umunze, Anambra State, but here we are in Enugu managing it. We need to come together and fix this. We cannot destroy our own because we are being marginalized.”
He called for a return to peace, highlighting that unity and stability at home are essential for any effective response to external pressures. “We must uphold our glory by going back to our peaceful nature. We can only fight back if home is in order for proper planning. If this continues, they have succeeded in disorganizing us,” he added.
Cubana Chief Priest concluded with a heartfelt tribute to Flavour’s father, saying, “Rest in peace, Papa Ijele Igbo Nile, father of African royalty.”
