Funke Akindele has made it clear she’s not jumping on the iPhone 17 trend.
In a candid Snapchat video, the Nollywood star and filmmaker shared that she’s perfectly fine with the phones she already owns. Fans had been curious about why she hadn’t joined other celebrities flaunting the new model, but Funke’s response was simple—she doesn’t see the need.
According to her, she currently uses multiple phones, including three iPhones and a Samsung, and that’s more than enough. She revealed that her favorite is still her iPhone 13, which she treasures because of the memories and videos stored on it.
“I’m not buying iPhone 17, abeg,” she said with a laugh. “I have iPhone 13, 15, and 16. I’m keeping my 13 because I can’t let go of my videos and chats. I’m attached to it.”
She added that even though she’s tech-savvy, she prefers to stick with what works rather than chase every new release.
“I already have three iPhones and one Samsung. I can’t give any out—everything inside is important. I’ll just keep using what I have,” she concluded.
