This is a simple and fast way to make a sauce for any dish.
Ingredients
1 large tomato
2 medium onions
Kpakposhito
50g of roasted Peanuts or 2 tablespoonfuls of Peanut butter / Groundnut paste
100g of boiled Salted Fish (to get rid of the excess Salt)
4 tablespoonfuls of spiced Palm Oil (Zomi)
1 tin Sardine in oil (optional)
Kpakposhito
4 chopped Green chillies for garnishing (optional)
Salt to taste

Method
Fill the pot halfway with water and add the tomatoes, onion, pepper, and koobi.
Steam them until tender. Turn off the heat and save any leftover water from the steaming.
Mash the chilli and onion in an asanka (earthenware mortar) with a pestle.
To the mortar, add the tomatoes. Mash until well combined with the onion mixture.
Mash the peanuts or peanut paste into the mixture thoroughly. If it’s too thick, use some steaming water to loosen it up.
Add the sardine, salted fish (Koobi), and boiled eggs, then season with salt to taste.
