Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice recently made an exciting announcement about their highly anticipated collaboration, titled “Barbie World.” Through their social media accounts, the talented artists revealed that the song will be released on June 23, offering a delightful teaser just one month before the eagerly awaited premiere of the global Barbie movie.
In previous reports, it was stated that Aqua’s popular track “Barbie Girl” would not be featured in the film. However, the newly released snippet takes inspiration from the iconic song. In a preview shared on Minaj’s Instagram, Ice Spice delivers a fiery rap, proclaiming, “And I’m as bold and fierce as the Barbie,” followed by Nicki’s playful verse, “I may be a doll, but I know how to have a good time. I’m a perfect 10, just like Ken.” Both artists cleverly incorporate Aqua’s memorable hook from their 1997 hit into their performance.
