Nollywood actor Linc Edochie has made it clear that he’s stepping away from the drama surrounding his now-former partner, Yinka Theisen, following a controversial moment online involving his brother’s estranged wife, May Edochie.
Over the weekend, Yinka stirred backlash after sharing May’s phone number on social media during an ongoing clash with some of May’s supporters. The incident sparked criticism and concern across various platforms.
Addressing the situation on Monday, Linc took to Instagram to clear the air. He emphasized that he had no involvement in the incident and strongly disapproved of the invasion of privacy. More importantly, he stressed that he wants no part in any form of hostility or public conflict.
“I don’t speak carelessly, but this needs to be said,” he wrote. “I’m a man who values peace and my mental space. I never supported the attacks on May, nor did I condone sharing her number. We don’t always have to agree with each other, but we should be able to show respect. I’d rather be alone and at peace than stay in a relationship surrounded by chaos.”
Following his statement, Yinka also confirmed the end of their relationship. In a separate post, she shared her feelings, writing: “In all things, we give thanks to God. My relationship with Linc is over. No hard feelings. I’m heartbroken, but I still thank God.”
Their breakup comes less than a month after news of their union first surfaced online—a whirlwind that appears to have ended just as quickly as it began.
