The runway came alive at the Trident Hyderabad as the 72nd Miss World Top Model competition unfolded in a dazzling blend of fashion, poise, and cultural pride. It wasn’t just about walking the runway—it was a celebration of individuality, heritage, and bold self-expression.
Out of 108 contestants from across the globe, four incredible women emerged as continental winners. Their standout presence has earned them a direct ticket to the Miss World 2025 Quarterfinals.
Guiding the evening was Miss World 2016, Stephanie del Valle, who brought warmth and elegance to the stage. Representing Africa, Selma Kamanya of Namibia claimed her place in the spotlight. She was joined by Aurélie Joachim of Martinique for the Americas and Caribbean, Jasmine Gerhardt of Ireland for Europe, and Nandini Gupta of India for Asia and Oceania. Selma now joins Zambia’s Faith Bwalya, who also advanced earlier, making it two African queens already set for the next round.
Before the final announcement, each region spotlighted two outstanding contestants. For Africa, it was Selma Kamanya and Côte d’Ivoire’s Fatoumata Coulibaly. In the Americas and Caribbean, the honors went to Martinique’s Aurélie Joachim and Venezuela’s Valeria Cannavò. India’s Nandini Gupta and New Zealand’s Samantha Poole represented Asia and Oceania, while Belgium’s Karen Jansen and Ireland’s Jasmine Gerhardt stood tall for Europe.
All eight finalists returned to the runway for one final turn—this time, it wasn’t just about their outfits, but the spark in their stride and the energy they brought with them.
The night also paid tribute to designer brilliance. Four contestants were specially recognized for how they wore and carried their custom pieces: Zoalise Jansen van Rensburg of South Africa, Valeria Pérez of Puerto Rico, Samantha Poole of New Zealand, and Maria Melnychenko of Ukraine.
From stunning looks to heartfelt moments, the evening was a vibrant showcase of global beauty and inner strength. With each step, these women are not just walking—they’re moving closer to the Miss World crown.
