Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has confirmed she’s no longer in a relationship with her younger boyfriend, Xxssive. Rumors about their breakup have been swirling online, and Nkechi decided to clear the air.
She emphasized that there’s no drama or hard feelings between them. “I’ve been single since last year,” she said. “I decide when to share parts of my life, and right now feels like the right time. There’s no bad blood between me and anyone—we’re good.”
The actress first went public with her relationship with the 27-year-old back in September 2022, not long after her highly publicized split from Ekiti-born politician Opeyemi Falegan. Their romance often made headlines, especially with their affectionate moments shared on social media.

The heartbreaking announcement was made by Seun Oloketuyi, CEO of the Best of Nollywood Awards, who shared the news on Instagram. He revealed that Monalisa battled low blood sugar and internal bleeding before her untimely death.
“Monalisa was a hardworking and beautiful soul,” Oloketuyi wrote. “Her younger sister confirmed her passing. She will be deeply missed.”
