Yoruba Nollywood actress Olayinka Solomon, popularly known as Ogo Mushin, has shared her personal experience with postpartum challenges.
The actress, who welcomed her fourth child with her husband in the U.S. on January 9, 2025, took to Instagram to open up about the struggles she has faced since childbirth.
Expressing her concerns, Olayinka asked fellow mothers what changes they experienced after having a baby. She revealed that she has been dealing with memory loss and mood swings.
“Postpartum mom. What changed after childbirth?
“For me, I get upset over minor things and struggle with memory loss. We could have a conversation, and the next minute, I don’t remember it. I never feel full; I can eat now and be hungry again shortly after,” she shared.
In another development, Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has responded to Nigerian singer Naira Marley after he posted their old chat exchanges on his Instagram story.
The messages revealed that Iyabo had invited Naira Marley to some of her events, including her late mother’s remembrance ceremony. She had also sought his support for her adopted son, who was pursuing a music career.
However, Naira Marley did not explain why he decided to make these private conversations public.
Reacting on Instagram, Iyabo Ojo made it clear that her issue with the singer was his failure to address the alleged bullying of his former signee, Mohbad. She also mentioned being aware of other serious allegations surrounding Mohbad’s death, which she believes should be handled legally.
The actress emphasized that it is not unusual for celebrities to interact via direct messages. She noted that she had previously helped Naira Marley and other artists by promoting their music when they reached out to her.
Iyabo Ojo maintained that regardless of any past interactions, she will always stand against injustice.
