Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be willing to attend King Charles’ coronation on May 6 at Westminster Abbey.
Despite the fact that the ceremony coincides with Prince Archie’s fourth birthday, the couple wishes to accept the Royal Family’s invitation amid controversy following the publication of Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’.
The couple has yet to confirm their attendance, but according to the Daily Mail, they want to be a part of the celebrations for this special occasion.
“Archie’s birthday is May 6th, coronation day, and the Sussexes want the family to recognize that,” an OK! source said.
“The Sussexes have requested that some sort of celebration or acknowledgment be included in the day’s plans to ensure that his fourth birthday is not overlooked.”
“They want their children to spend time with other family members, especially their cousin August, who is Lilibet’s age.” Both couples get along great and want their children to be close.”
It should be noted that during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee last year, neither Harry nor Meghan appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for Trooping the Colour.
Omid Scobie, a royal author, and Sussexes wrote a column for Yahoo! News indicating that this was a mutual decision between the two parties.
