The Prince of Wales is celebrating his 41st birthday and has received warm birthday wishes from the Royal family. Following Queen Elizabeth’s passing, Prince William, now appointed as the King, marks his first birthday with this title. A delightful picture shared on the official Royal family Twitter account captures the Prince and King Charles wearing smiles during coronation rehearsals. In the photo, Prince William, dressed in a suit, is seen fastening the Imperial Mantle, also known as the Royal Robe, on his father. The accompanying tweet conveys heartfelt birthday greetings to the Prince of Wales.
Coinciding with his birthday, Prince William recently made a commitment to construct social housing on the vast Duchy of Cornwall’s land. In an interview with the Sunday Times, he revealed his plans for social housing on the 130,000-acre estate under his control. Additionally, the Prince expressed his determination to combat homelessness in the UK, sharing his intent to launch a significant project aimed at addressing this issue. The specific details of the five-year project, however, will remain undisclosed until the end of the month. It’s worth noting that Prince William has prior experience in tackling homelessness, as he serves as the patron of Centrepoint, a charity dedicated to assisting homeless young individuals.

Last week, he attended the official opening of Reuben House, a block of 33 studio properties in south London. These accommodations are designed with affordable rents, set at a third of the resident’s income, as part of the charity’s initiative. Ahead of his 40th birthday, Prince William made a commitment to continue raising awareness about the “solvable issue” of homelessness and to involve his children in supporting charities that aid those experiencing homelessness. Princess Diana, during her lifetime, took Prince William to a homeless shelter when he was just 11 years old, aiming to broaden his perspectives and instill a sense of compassion.
Furthermore, in celebration of Father’s Day, a heartwarming photograph was released by Kensington Palace, capturing the Prince of Wales with his three children. The image depicts Princess Charlotte and Prince George standing on either side of their father, joyfully looking up at him. Meanwhile, the youngest sibling, Prince Louis, affectionately embraces Prince William from behind, creating a touching family moment.
