Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are the couples on which almost everyone in the United Kingdom has an opinion… almost.
Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, is well aware of the pressures that come with royal scrutiny, but she has refused to pass judgment on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Sussexes have been chastised in the British press for their decision to relocate to the United States and essentially abdicate their Royal duties.
A long-standing feud has erupted as a result of that decision, with Prince Harry reportedly refusing to speak to either his brother [Prince William] or his father [King Charles].
Ferguson divorced Prince Andrew in 1996
Many people associate Prince Andrew with sexual misconduct allegations and his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Sarah Ferguson was his wife from 1986 to 1996, after which the couple divorced.
“I don’t believe any one person has the right to judge another,” Ferguson told People Magazine.
“I’ve been judged my entire life, and I have no opinion on the Sussexes.”
